Healthovation is a derivative of HCI's vision to establish its own research and innovation division to further ameliorate education and research activities globally, primarily in the health sector.
Over the past decade as we sent graduates into the workforce, we saw that rapid technological advancements that were taking place within HealthTech and MedTech every day. This made us dream about all the ways that we envision that technology could revolutionise healthcare. After sometime we thought to ourselves, why limit these to just dreams?
So Healthovation came to life.

Robotics for healthcare might sound futuristic, but they have been making their presence felt for a while. We have more seniors setting their foot in aged care centres than ever before and ageing with complex needs thus leading to a crisis. However, we are not well prepared for this situation with adequately trained staff.
First, is SimSoft, this the overarching software of the NSE which captures all functions and monitors student progress through the NSE from start to finish. Second, NurSim is a computer adaptive testing for students to practicet virtual training before entering the simulation lab. Third, we have RobSim, this is our state of the art simulation robot which we are developing to enhance students practical training experience. Finally, ClinSoft takes care of reporting and assessment of the students during their clinical placement. This project is in collaboration with our sister organisations Institute of Health and Management & Institute of Health & Nursing Australia who have a combined experience of teaching xx nurses over the past 13 years.
Pulse is our 8 week pre-incubator program that supports entrepreneurially inclined individuals to explore and develop their business skills. This program has been designed so that all you have to bring is your creative self and curiosity. Together we will explore existing and emerging health care challenges and identify ways that digital health can improve people's quality of life. Pulse Pre-Incubator will cover the foundations of how to make your idea come to life, including the foundations of developing a business idea into a solid plan as well as the essentials of legal and financial management.
